Jeffrey Roberts – Project Developer

Jeffrey Roberts is Managing Member of Bennett Gadsden Associates, LLC; and JJR Development, LLC – a private real estate investment company specializing in acquisitions, development, urban planning, commercial, residential construction, troubled asset purchase, public-private joint ventures, turnarounds and land use planning. With over 15 years of experience of  development experience in Downtown Charleston, Roberts is known for such projects as: The Engel Street Restoration and Development (a public/private partnership with the City of Charleston), The Best Friend Train Museum, and various infill, historic restorations and new construction on the Charleston Peninsula, in addition to multiple mixed use projects.

Julia F. Martin, AIA, LEED AP – Project Architect

Julia F. Martin, AIA, LEED AP has been practicing architecture since graduating from Virginia Tech with a Master of Architecture degree in 1998. She enjoys collaborating with the city’s numerous departments, boards, and organizations during the design process, and she finds meaningful solutions to the complex design issues that inevitably arise in this historic urban environment that so merits our deep respect. Martin’s current major projects include The Westendorff and Harold’s Cabin, and she has collaborated with Jeffrey Roberts on numerous historic restorations and new construction homes over the past 11 years.

Scott Dow, Dow, Inc – Lead Construction

As a native of the Boston, MA area, graduate of Norwich University and a Southerner by choice since 1986, Scott’s interest and exposure to communities and commercial buildings with historic significance made his construction business services and Charleston welcome an immediate success. Under Scott’s leadership as President and CEO, Dow, Inc. has developed a diverse client base with projects throughout the Charleston Historic District, The Battery and the Old Village of Mt. Pleasant since 1987. Current projects include 78 Spring Street and Harleston Row.

Kristin B. Walker – Sales and Marketing

A Realtor for seven years, Kristin B. Walker specializes in real estate sales on the Charleston Peninsula and is skilled in Preservation, design and marketing. In 2014 and 2015, she sold almost $10,000,000, putting her in the top 10% of real estate agents in Charleston. In addition, in 2014 she was #4 in number of Charleston Peninsula sales and #2 in Harleston Village. Her background includes 12 years of sales, marketing and technology with a Masters in International Business from the University of South Carolina.
